Cusi Property
[Regional Exploration]
During 2008, Dia Bras conducted regional exploration work in the southern portions of the Cusi property as well as reconnaissance work in the extreme northwestern part of the property. The reconnaissance work located three areas about 1-2 km NW of the San Juan mine that are underlain by low hills covered with debris of vein material.
During 2009, regional work was postponed in order to focus on pilot-mining activities and underground development.
For 2010, Management has focused the Corporation’s regional work in the area northwest of San Juan, where soil sampling, reconnaissance geologic mapping and sampling of vein material will be conducted. In addition, similar work will be done in the La India-La Bamba area where work during 2008 indicated that the two vein systems are in fact a single, large vein complex. Drilling is planned in this area and is scheduled for the second quarter of this year.
