Dia Bras Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: DIB) ("Dia Bras" or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the commencement of drilling on newly-defined exploration targets. These targets have been identified by extensive rock-chip sampling of andesitic rocks that overlie the host metasediments.
Coincident anomalies of Mo, Cu, and Zn (see attached map) occur near the Banda Fault and immediately north of the existing mine workings. The targets in both of these areas are large-value deposits adjacent to faults that are inferred to have been major feeder zones for mineralizing fluids. The Banda Fault is a major fault, and the felsic dike that traverses the mine area is inferred to be intruded along another significant fault.

Sampling of the andesitic rocks continues but the strength of the anomalous zones already identified resulted in the Company mobilizing one of its drill rigs to begin immediate testing of these important anomalies.
